I love gadgets that make me look efficient.

I love gadgets that make me look like a ‘know-it-all’.

I particularly love gadgets that save me money! :-)

Today PI and I popped out for lunch and as we walked PI bemoaned the lack of a dictaphone in her life. She gets some of her best ideas when on the move and in her (Tardis-like) handbag a dictaphone would be a most nifty accessory sure to be used and appreciated.

We hesitated outside the doors of Argos wondering if we should pop in and check what stock they had. Yet, would we find the best price? Should we go back to the office and check Amazon and various other sites? … Oh what to do?
We walked on, dictaphone-less ;-)

Back at the office the TTB phone rang and it was a lovely PR Exec with whom I have conversed with many times (“please call me, I’m trialling a phone and can’t figure out how to unlock it!” – was our introductory conversation, for real.)

“Hi Alex, I am calling you about Sccope
Oh, how I laughed (and cursed) as she explained Sccope to me. An hour earlier and we would have trialled this by sheer necessity.

Launched just over a month ago and growing at the rate of knots Sccope is a fabulous text service (and online facility) where you can punch in the device you want to buy and receive a text in reply of the cheapest stockists of the device – including Amazon, John Lewis, Waterstones, Currys, Dixons, Borders etc. Texts are charged at standard network rate too so there’s no nasty £1.50 shock when your bill comes in. A genuine consumer friendly price comparison facility – well impressed

Currently covering areas such as Consumer Electronics, Console & PC Games, Books, Childrens Toys etc this is one number 62555 that you want to be popping into your phone for those nightmare Christmas shopping trips – and to be frank, any day of “retail therapy” ;-)

Try it online too – www.sccope.com. Happy shopping :-D
